Come Sip On Sangria At The Sangria Festival On August 20th At Chicago’s Humboldt Park

Jul 26, 2017 Dr. Kristina Nelson

What could be better than the combination of art, Sangria, and great food? This year, Chicago is hosing its second annual Sangria Festival, where you can treat yourself to a relaxing day of Sangria drinking while listening to fantastic local music and dabbling in some excellent cooking. You won’t want to miss this year’s Sangria Festival, coming to Chicago’s Humboldt Park on August 20th.

Sangria, Food, & Fun

This year’s Sangria Festival brings together a bevy of Latin culture for you to enjoy. You’ll get to experience a break from the norm during this tropical event, taking a break from life and relaxing with some excellent Latin Sangria, cuisine, dancing, and entertainment. The live entertainment offerings include Latin music, flamenco dancers, and cultural fun.

After purchasing your tickets for the event, you’ll be in for a treat. With your tickets you’ll receive a complimentary souvenir sangria glass to prepare you for the excellent bartenders who will be catering to you at the event. You’ll be able to taste a variety of hand-crafted flavors, dipping into the different tastes of Latin culture. Prepare to dress your best as well, since you can partake in a fun picture with family and friends at the Sangria Photo Wall.

Besides making sure you dress the part, remember to bring chairs and a blanket when purchasing a lawn ticket. Most of the seating available at the event will be outdoors on the lawn, so pack your items and grab your spot. Just remember that food and drinks are not allowed into the event.

A Charitable Festival

Part of the proceeds raised by the Sangria Festival will be donated to help the mission of the San Lucas Church of Christ’s Food Pantry & Hot Meals Program. San Lucas Church of Christ, located in Humboldt Park, works to make sure those local residents in need of food receive hot meals, including fresh fruits and vegetables.
